The Monk who Sold his Ferrari

The quote, "Don't judge a Book by its Title" applies to this book perfectly. It seems to us as if it would be some story of a billionaire turned monk who had a Ferrari which he sold and will now encourage us to give up the material world and become a monk just like him. But this is not the case. Yes, it involves the story of a billionaire turned monk who sold his Ferrari but he never encourages us to do so and even teaches us Seven Virtues which we must follow to be successful and happy in life and improve the quality of our life. The Seven Virtues are :-

  1. Master Your Mind
  2. Follow Your Purpose
  3. Practice Kaizen (constant improvement)
  4. Live With Discipline
  5. Respect Your Time
  6. Selflessly Serve Others
  7. Embrace The Present

One of the best books I have read. It is easy to understand and the virtues given are simple to apply which will improve your life dramatically and take it to a whole new level. It's based on an interesting story line to maintain the reader's attention throughout the book. This book will enlighten you and help you see the bigger meaning in your life. It will change the lens through which you see your life. The Monk who Sold his Ferrari is one of the few books that tops my list of must reads even for those who have read many other self help and success books.
